NANCY MORELAND & THOMAS HOLEMAN [HOLMAN]
I have found, in different places, that Thomas and Nancy Moreland-Holeman [Holman]were the parents of my ancestor, Daniel Holeman. No place or date of birth have been found for Daniel. Daniel wed Elizabeth Cartlay at North River, Shenandoah, Cockel Town in Orange Co., in the Colony of Virginia on 7 June 1737. Daniels name is spelled HOOLMAN in this accounting of the marriage as seen in, "The Early Baptisms and Marriages in Southern Penn.". They were wed by a traveling Rev. named John C. Stoever. At the time of the marriage Daniel & Eliz. had two children listed. They were Isaac b. 1725 and Rebecca (date of her birth not recorded).
Can anyone out there give verification that Nancy Moreland is actually the mother of Daniel, who I would guess was born abt. 1700/1705 (calculated by his son, Isaac, being b. in 1725).
I have been trying for 5 years to verify Thomas and Nancy as Daniels parents !
