Searching for parents of Nellie L. Girton, b. 1874, Ohio and Leslie (William Leslie) Girton, b. 2 Jul 1876, Ohio. Their mother was born in Ohio, daughter of David D. and Cynthia A. Evans, who had three daughters, Mary J., Alvira A., and Susanna, all born in Ohio.
All I've been able to find about their father is that he was born in Ohio.
Nellie and Leslie were living with David and Cynthia Evans in North Dakota in 1880.
North Dakota land patents were issued to Leslie and Nellie in 1913. Her patent indicates a married name of Morlan. It appears she was married to Frank Morlan/Moreland, born about 1875 in Indiana (son of Edward and Amanda Moreland).
