Looking for infomation on (Samuel?) Berry Moreland (b.abt.1822, NC/TN) of Meigs Co. TN (1850 & 1860) & McNairy Co. TN (1880). Berry was married to Orlena Unk (b.abt. 1823, TN; d. bef. 1880). Known children were Martha E. (1842), Thomas (1843), Mary Jane (1845), Louisa (1848), John (1849), Emaline (1851), Joseph (1856), & William H. (1859).

Berry's sister was Martha Moreland (1831, TN) who married Issac Cookson in Meigs Co. TN (m.1848). Coly A. Moreland was either his sister or his daughter (born in 1831 or 1841). He lived next door to Hannah Moreland Johns in Meigs Co. (1850). A Delila Moreland (1784, TN) was in his home in 1860.
