Lovely to hear from you! I connect to this family through James Achilles who married my Grandfather's sister (Marthe Elizabeth Wenker)23 May 1916. They had 2 children, STANLEY, b. 11 June 1917, and Liliane, b. 1920

According my notes, which I will have to find for the references, both Jules and James claim Hoboken as birthplace.(Death Register for Jules and SSN for James).

I had the good fortune to be in touch with Stanley for a couple of years - he died recently, but am dismayed to discover I didn't add the dates to my files. He mentioned a relative, with whom he corresponded in Colorado. I thought it was his sister as I have Adrienne dying in New Jersey in 1985. He was living in Texas at the time but was moved back east by his family to go to a Veteran's Home in DC. Didn't last but maybe 6 months there...

As an aside, George shows up on the Ellis Island site. Was a waiter on a steamship for a couple of years, going down toward Cuba.
