I'm looking for information for Charles Avit Moreau, my great gandfather. He was born 05/11/1867, and married Lavinia Ann Austin, b. 10/21/1876.
His father was Oger Moreau, b. 1841, m. 10/23/1860 to Pauline Bordelon.
Oger's father was Auguste Moreau, b. 05/16/1795, m. (#2) Ludesine Lacour on 02/13/1838.
Auguste Moreau was son of Peierre Celestin Moreau and Adelaide Goudeau.
Charles Avit Moreau was the father of Walter Paul Moreau (my grandfather), Wall (my grandfather's twin), Ivy, Marvel, Celcile, Octavia, Louise, Preston (Bizz), Maggie, Charles Avit, Jr., and Maude.
Any information on this family from Avoyelles Parish would be greatly appreciated.
