Thanks much for trying and thanks for the information.

The Geni.com engine states that my John More c.1761 is related to Sir Thomas More 1477-1535 thusly:

Sir Thomas More, Chancellor of England and Saint is John More's great granddaughter's husband's third cousin twice removed's husband's 6th great grandfather.

That info, providing it's accurate, would answer our question.

HOWEVER, I do not have a paid version of Geni.com to be able to get the actual path. Also, frankly, I don't completely trust that engine. I don't know how accurate it really is.
