Travis,
I don't think I replied to your message on GenForum about descent from St. Thomas More in June, so I am just trying to catch up.
I researched the descendants of Saint Thomas More for ten years, and my book "The Family and Descendants of St Thomas More" was published in the UK in April this year.
I would be surprised if you are a 23rd great-grandson of St Thomas More as I have a line back to him and he is only my 14 x great-grandfather.
Given the usual lenghth of 35 years given for a generation you would most likely be the 23rd great-grandson of someone living in the 1200s!
Of course, the 23rd may be a miscalculation.
If I can help in any way please let me know.
Best wishes,
Martin Wood
