Dear Bonnie,

Thanks for the message, I should point out, it is not me that is compiling data for a book, it is Martin Wood. I just posted a reply to his request for information.

According to Mr Wood, it would seem that the lineage of Sir Thomas’s family is quite well recorded until the 18 century, the direct line having died out sometime earlier. There remains some loose ends regarding other members of the family from that time on.

We are ignoring the established tree and are trying to work backwards, so far we have traced, with some degree of certainty, our particular “More” line back to a Walter More of Halesworth in Suffolk, England, who was married to Susanna Bollamy of Cookley on April 12th 1796. This is as far as we got so far.

We are based in the U.K. If we can be of any further help please contact us again.

Kind Regards
Michael John More
