I descend from William's brother, Elijah Moran, who married Caroline Hall. I also descend from William and Elijah's sister, Sally Moran, who married Adam Thomas. Another Moran researcher sent me some information a while back about Nelson Moran and Mary Owen. She told me that Nelson was born abt. 1779 and he died Dec. 1862 in Patrick Co., VA. On Dec. 20, 1802, he married Mary Owen. I have the following children from their marriage:
1. Nancy b.1804
2. Elizabeth b.1805
3. William b.1811
4. James b.10 Dec. 1812
5. John b.10 Dec. 1812
6. Elijah b.14 June 1815
7. Mary b.1818
8. Sally b.1822
9. Lucinda b.1824
I have more info. about each of the siblings as well. If you would like that, please let me know. I can also tell you (you may already know all of this) that Nelson Moran was married 2 more times after Mary Owen. I have all of that information as well.
