Hello I'm trying to trace the ancestry of the above person who is my 4 x great grandmother. The earliest record I have of her is her marriage to William Nash, a Royal Marine, in Portsea, St Mary's in 1807. After his death, she married my 4 x great grandfather James Hatton, another Royal Marine (she must have had a thing for sailors!), again at Portsea, St Mary's in 1811. James left the Royal Marines and they moved back to his hometown of Atherstone, Warwickshire sometime between 1813 and 1816. She was buried there in 1830. I have not been able to locate her baptism anywhere, her father's name was not given at either marriage, nor are any of the witnesses at either marriage Moormans. Has anybody come across her anywhere in their searches? Regards Samantha Notify Administrator about this message?
