Thanks for the info.
I've not actually been doing my tree for the past year now, but I will be keeping that info for when I can get the time to get back into it. I'll have to check up in what you have given me.
My Nan did say that the Moores side did have a family business and became well off, didn't know what business it was thou. So having a Scrap Metal yard could tie in, as it was a solid business to be in.
I would think that Central Library would have some information on James Moores Ltd. I'll have to check that out. Gosh its gonna take me ages to hunt out my paper's again!
I will hopefully be able to get back into it soon! I'll definatly keep this info for when I can use it and will be intouch for more info as soon as I can.
