Pat, Bill Moorefield in Martinsville, Va. Hate to be a spoil sport, but have seen our family given credit for this in other places also. There are numerous links to Moorefield, W. Va. which state the town was named for a Conrad or Thomas Moore who owned the land on which the town is laid out. We can't take credit for that one, although a number of Moorefields have migrated from Va. to West. Va.
