I'm also having a problem getting my Moore line back since I can't find a Moore male from that line because my Moore is through a woman.

If you have a male Moore with that surname, I'd find help by DNA testing at a 37 marker level. That way at least you'd find other Moore's with the same DNA that might be able to help you. That is how I found my (Warren, Casteel, Ward) lineage relatives who helped me.

Order the test through the Moore Project for a big discount. The Moore DNA Project through Family Tree DNA. http://www.familytreedna.com/public/Moore/default.aspx?section=yresults

After you test, you will be sent e-mails of those who have Moore ancestry that matches your Moore's DNA.

It also appears that this Moore Project does not have the individual groups or lineages divided or separated like most Surname Projects I've seen. Perhaps the administrator of this Moore Project would welcome someone savy in computers to help do that. They have a large enrollment in this Project that could be very beneficial if grouped accordingly to help others find their early ancestors.
