Interesting research. Its definitely not our line. Our John Moore was born in NC (per the RS pension app) likely in the early-mid 1700s. Probably in the earlier county/ districts of NC (Beauforth, Bath, etc.) At his death in 1815 he was in Pitt. Do you think this is your line?
