Hi back again. I'm sure you can find that book ,, it wasn't about just Moores ,, just early NY/Long Island families and a lot on those Moores.
Odd you should mention Benjamin Moore. We've just picked up a track on "aBenjaminMoore" ,, and yes ,, the "JohnMoores" are beyond spaghetti that has dried out. They are that ,, cubed ,, into a haystack,,, removed twice ,, stomped on by too many family trees that don't get them straight ,, washed out again and just looking down laughing waiting for us to sort out all 20,000 or so of them. I just love them myself. Somehow, they've all become family.
I'll let you know about this new Benjamin track if it turns into something. best, cheryl o7o
