Hope this triggers something with someone! My husband's sister has been sending him some family pictures and there is one that has us fascinated. It is a picture of a man, a woman and two adolescent boys in full Native American dress (it's obviously a studio portrait). It is signed "Sincerely, Rev. M. Moore and family" It is a black and white glossy photograph, taken probably between 1910-1940. My husband remembers askng his mother when he was young who the people were and she merely said "I don't know, just some people." Not much to go on, but it's all I've got! Since my husband's family is originally from Sequoyah Co. OK (later California), I'm thinking maybe that's where the Moore family was. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Would be happy to share the photo! Hope someone can help or give me an idea. Thanks! Andrea P.S. Also posted this to the Sequoyah Co. and Oklahoma boards. Notify Administrator about this message?
