Thanks for your reply. Lack of information is the biggest problem I have with this. I have a list that says it's the 1937 roster for Camp Darrington, Wa. Which was just outside of the city limits of Darrington, Snohomish county, Wa. I have a list of names of 137 boys. ( I wrote a query ; like the MOORE one, for each one of these names) They were "supposed" to be between the ages of 17 & 25. so; for the 1937 roster... They were "supposed" to have been born between 1912 & 1920. Notice I said "supposed" People were so desperate that they lied; to to get their sons in the C.C.C. Some were too young & some were too old. The parents lied to have one less mouth to feed at home & the mouth they didn't have to feed; would send home $25 a month; to feed the ones that were left at home. I have been able to find two company #'s so far. They are F-15 Co.# 934; 19 May 1933 This Co. was from the 3Rd Corps. area; which was from Pa. Md. Va. & Dist. of Columbia F-16, Co# 6439; 26th July 1940 was from the 4th Corps area. Which was from NC. SC. GA. AL. TN. Miss. LA. So far I have found the names of 2 camp news papers: The Denim Parade & the Totem Tales. The C.C.C. Camps were active for 9 yrs.; between 1933 & 1942. 9 yrs.; with companies of from approx. 150- 250 boys for each co. Each boy could serve from 6 months - 2 yrs. It's a REALLY minute needle; in a really gigantic haystack; but this is very important to me; so I am going to try every "trick/angle" I can come up with. ANY help anyone can give me is greatly appreciated & greatfully accepted. Thank you; Leah Notify Administrator about this message?
