Information on the Moore family is from an article by Hazel J. Hayes, beginning on page 123 of Wayne County, Tennesee, Histories and Families, preparded by the Wayne County Historical Society (Paducah, KY, 1995)
Benjamin Moore - b. 1696, Chester Co. PA, d. 1751, Hopewell, Cumberland Co. PA.
Son of Mary Moore, who was born in England and arrived in 1686 in Philadelphia, PA on the 'Delaware' from Bristol, England. Benjamin traded with the Indians.
Although this source offers a parent for Benjamin, it does not have anything on his wife.
