Thank you for your reply. I do not have any new proven data since I posted my earlier message.

One researcher wrote to me that John MOOR who immigrated in 1791 might be related. John MOOR was born between 1760-1765 in Durham, England, and lived in Rensselaer Co., NY [New York].
Could he be your ancestor?
