You listed a Mary/Polly Moore Cowan in your post. Do you know the name of her husband? I have been researching my husband's GGGGrandmother, Margaret Moore. She married James Cowan in St. Clair county Alabama in 1844. I was wondering if by chance they might be from a connected family. Sheila
