While at the library copying obits for someone, I managed to get a copy of the following obit. I am no way related to this person, but I wanted to post the obit in case it was helpful to someone.

Lowell Sun
Lowell MA
November 7, 1957

Miss Violet M. Mooney, a native and former resident of Lowell, but for the past 20 years having made her home in Chelmsford, residing at 25 Sylvan avenue in that town, died this morning. She was 56. She was born in Lowell, the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Johnston) Mooney. Until her retirement three years ago, Miss Mooney had been employed by the Merrimack Manufacturing company, as an office clerk, for over 37 years. She is survived by two sisters, Miss Lilla C. Mooney, with whom she made her home and Mrs. Elizabeth H. Baker of Nashua, N.H.; a brother, Robert N. Mooney of Tulsa, Okla.; two nieces and a nephew. Miss Mooney was a member of St. Paul's Methodist church of Lowell and held membership in the F & F. club of that church.
