Sorry, Michael, it does not list parents.
He was apparently residing in Middletown, N.Y. and survived by a Mrs. Moon. Neither her given name, nor maiden name, is mentioned. The only child mentioned is a daughter, Miss Margaret Moon. This may be the end of the Moon Line on this branch possibly, where no sons are mentioned?
It mentions an auto accident and doctor's opinion that Mr. Moon had a heart attack which resulted in the accident. Mrs. Moon was also present and received injury to her wrist.
There are two small clippings which do not include the paper's name, nor date, however there is a penciled date of 17 Jul 1946 on one and 20 Jul 1946 on the second, the latter of which mentions 'Saturday's' death.
If anyone knows of Miss Margaret Moon, perhaps she married? IF so, maybe one of her descendants would like to have this obit?
It does not mention when or where he was born either... which I know is a disappointment from a genealogical stand point.
