Katie:
I show Jonathan Mooers, son of Jonathan and Mary Watson Mooers, born May 17, 1751 (died May 19, 1835) marrying Hannah Calder on Nantucket on August 20, 1775. She was the daughter of Samuel and Ruth Calder. Jonathan and Hanaah had, according to my records, six children: Jonathan, died August 23, 1802; Nancy died February 5, 1805; Betrsy, born August 26, 1777, died August 21, 1812, marreid Hiram Coffin; Samuel, born August 21, 1784, died May 12, 1831 - Lost at Sea, married Rebecca Hayden; Susan, born March 24, 1789, died August 7, 1857, married Robert Gardner; Hanna, born march 21, 1791, died May 20, 1875, married Henry Gardner February 2, 1815, on Nantucket.
My records indicate that this Jonathan was one of four children of Jonathan Mooers Jr. and Mary Watson, whom Jonathan Jr. married on Nantucket on January 27, 1745/46. Mary was the daughter of Robert and Jane Watson and she died 1780. Jonathan Jr. died September 5, 1795. Jonathan Jr and Mary's children were: Robert, who married Mary Swain on September 2, 1784 on Nantucket(he drowned in the Delaware in December 1799); William, born 1745, died 1819, married Charity Ryder December 1, 1770 on Nantucket; Jonathan; Mary, born June 1, 1753, died April 1815, married Jonathan Swain December 10, 1772 on Nantucket.
This line goes back to Edmund through: Janathan, 1702; Jonathan, 1681; Jonathan 1646.
Best regards.

Dan Mooers
