Sorry Thomas to be so long getting back to you but the truth is, now that I've found out I don't belong to the Clement line anymore (UNLESS its by osmosis or some adoption into that family etc.), I don't really keep up with that branch anymore.
I have put most all of my years and years of work on that line away in spare room closet in boxes and its just a pain in the rump roast to get to.
However, I didn't want not want to try and answer your question about Mary Moody daug. of Daniel and Esther Moody/Moody.
From whatever info I obtained from wherever at the time, what I have entered in my family tree info and whether or not this is solid info I can't say, but what I have showing as children of Daniel and Esther is as follows:
Daniel MOODY b. bef. Oct. 12, 1735 poss. Raymond, NH he was baptized on Oct. 12th 1735
He married on Aug. 3, 1758 poss. in Raymond, NH to Esther MOODY who was born around c1734 prob. Brentwood area daug. of Josiah MOODY, Sr. and Sarah SCRIBNER.
(Daniel was son of David Moody and Mary GILMAN)
Daniel died Feb. 20, 1804 in Freetown, NH and was said to have died in a sawmill accident. He also was recorded as living in Chester, NH at some point in time.
Esther Moody died March 17, 1787 in Raymond, NH.
CHILDREN for this couple:
1.-Sarah MOODY b. Nov. 7, 1758 Raymond, NH d. Oct. 5, 1786 prob. Raymond, NH (unmarried)
2- Levi MOODY b. Oct. 18, 1761 d. March 19, 1782 New York, drowned at age 21
3-David Moody b. July 23, 1763 Raymond, NH ran a tavern in town married to a gal named "Abigail" _______
4-Clement Moody b. March 4, 1766 Raymond, NH m. c1790 to Martha "Molly" MILLER and he died Jan. 30, 1833 in Raymond, NH. He and his family are buried at the Old Pine Cem.
5-Betty Moody (prob. 1st name Elizabeth) b. May 2, 1768 Raymond, NH
6-Hannah MOODY b. Sept. 16, 1771 Raymond, NH
7- MARY MOODY b. June 16, 1773 Raymond, NH m. Thomas DUDLEY (date of marriage unk.) she died Nov. 17, 1827. I have in my notes under Thomas that they lived near the Griffith's Mill which is where afterwards Josiah MOODY, Esq. lived.
It might also be noted that perhaps this is the Mill that Daniel Moody had his fatal accident in (If the Griffith's Mill was a lumber mill that is).
8-Esther Moody b. Apr. 7, 1776 Raymond, NH
9-Daniel Moody b. March 6, 1780 Raymond, NH m. Jan. 1, 1806 to Catherine HOYT (I have a question in my notes asking if this Daniel ever lived in Maine and then went to Stowe, VT where he died at age 78)
10- Levi MOODY2 b. July 20, 1783 in Raymond, NH (no further info about him)
11- John MOODY b. May 9, 1785 Raymond, NH d. Aug. 14, 1859 in Raymond, NH (again no further info about him).
*****************************
I have No idea if Any of this is even remotely correct and I have doubts about some of it as so much of this Clement Moody line info has been so shuffled about and twisted up over the years of trying to sort it out. With all of the Same Names involved and so many of the same names being born around the same times and in or near the same places, it makes this Moody branch particularly hard to clear up.
I do also have that the Mary MOODY who married Thomas DUDLEY had a daughter b. in Raymond, NH but whether or not this is the Mary Moody you are searching for, I don't know.
Since you already have her married to a Eugley within your family tree, it is doubtful that This Mary is the correct one and she most likely attaches to another line from the Clement lineage.
Perhaps some of this info will be correct and possible helpful though.
