This is interesting and it IS part of our Ydna line. Now I wonder if This Parkinson is related to Elinor Parkinson Kennedy MOODY who married "bleach-green John Moody" in Co. L'derry, Nor. Ireland?? Here's the Link~ http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=chapman2007&id=I31409 Howard Nathan MOODY m. Margaret PARKINSON - in our Ydna line in Australia. (son of Israel Joseph MOODY of Magilligan, Nor. Ireland) [MY NOTE – does she relate to Elinor PARKINSON, widow of William KENNEDY who married 2nd or 1st to John MOODY who ran or owned the bleach-green in Co. L’derry, Nor. Ire.??] If so, this could be yet another clue as to our linking to the Rev. James MOODY & Frances KENNEDY line which comes from John MOODY of Tandragee, Co. Armagh, Nor. Ire. who married Elizabeth SHANNON. There are several links between those MOODY's and WATSON's, SHANNON's, Glenny's, Greer's, McDowell, etc. etc. as was shown via several records etc. If this is yet another linking line, I would think it would safe to say that the Rev. James MOODY line of Newry, Co. Down, NI and his son Rev. Dr. John MOODY who married a WATSON are also part of our Ydna line which would most likely include the "bleach-green John" line whose sons William and Robert MOODY came to Pittsburgh, PA c1816 and married into the LEDLIE and EAKIN families of which we've seen other connections to.
