I am guessing that you are referring to the John A. MOODY who I show as having married N. H. HEARON in Rowan Co., NC?
Is that the John you are referring to?
I think he's the only one on the list.
Where did you find that this John was born in CT?
We do have some CT associated Ydna Moody's, they came from Nor. Ireland to NY city and then went to Fairfield Co., CT for a while.
They were haberdashers, hatters and bootmakers by trade.
Is this the family you refer to? If so, their earliest known ancestor was a John P. MOODY b.c1816 in Ireland who was in the 1850 NY City census with wife "Jane". They had a son Robert Moody and others.
If this is the Moody branch you refer to then they are a proven part of our Ydna family.
