Debbie see my message posted in 2007 - #8952. That gives the info about one of our Ydna MOODY families from Ireland to New York City from the Census data. John P. MOODY b.c1816 in Ireland a bootmaker and his wife Jane and their family with sons named John and Robert MOODY. Now I'm wondering if perhaps the Robert MOODY that you found traveling with your Hopkins MOODY on the same ship from Nor. Ireland could have been related to this early John? Perhaps a younger brother? They lived in different Wards of New York City in 1850 but none-the-less were both in the same place and their ages are not that far off from each others...John b.c1816 and Robert b.c1827, that's only 11 years and certainly close enough to have been Brothers to one another. Also the fact that this early John Moody named his 2nd son Robert is also curious. John MOODY b. c1816 in Ireland...his wife's name was known only as "Jane" and she was age 35 in the census and born in Ireland. An Archibald McCANE age 18 b. Ireland was also living with them...perhaps a relative to the family as well. Maybe someday we will find out all of the answers we seek. Notify Administrator about this message?
