Thanks Art, we do have a Moody in our Ydna group whose earliest known Moody ancestor landed in Baltimore, MD for a brief time but shortly removed to Pittsburgh, PA, but he was from Ireland.

I think if your group shares any family relations with ours, its simply due to an Inter-Marriage between Two MOODY's of 2 very seperate lines that do not share ydna with one another, or as I said an Ooooop situation took place on the Female side whereby she gave a male born son her own maiden name of MOODY even though the father of that baby was not a Moody...that will really raise cane with your Ydna results. The Surname of the Other person that you share the 37/37 match to Might actually be your real last name, or he might actually be a Moody of your group...its always something to consider. If you share exact Ydna with another person of the surname MOODY, is he related to you in any way or was he someone you've never met? If this is the case, then chances are you DO have a MOODY lineage line, but its a very small one that will need More male born Moody's from it to come foward and be Ydna tested to lend support to your own Haplotype.
I've been going over your family tree and weighing it against those in ours and can't find any links between us so far. Perhaps one day someone will have the answers we seek.
Good Luck in the mean time with your research.
