From the IGI records that are NOT sourced (naturally), the Only one showing who ~Might~ be the one who married Isabella McQUISTAN/McQuiston, was Allan MOODIE/Moody born Oct. 1805 in/of PAISLEY, Renfrew, Scotland son of John MOODY/Moodie and Margaret STEVENSON.
IF this is the right one then Isabella McQUISTON waa only 18 years old when she married Allan in 1843 Greenock, Renfrew.
Isabella McQuiston MIGHT be the one who was christened on Aug. 28, 1825 in Port Glasgow, RENFREW, Scotland daughter of James McQUISTON and Janet McADAM.
I did a Janet McADAM born in 1796 Kincardine, Perthshire (just North of the Glasgow / Paisley area) daughter of Peter McADAM and ISABELLA REID (seems logical that Janet would name a daughter after her Mother so this MIGHT be the correct couple).
This all fits like a glove, but that doesn't make it correct. Its all very plausible however so for now, I present it as I find it until I can further make the Corrections if any are necessary.
I am going to check a few more records and see if I have any early print-outs from my other Scottish MOODIE/Mudie/Moody records....Births, Marriages and Deaths. etc.
I am also going to check the old books I have on the Moodie's/Mudie's as well for possible further details.
Also I would like to mention that the Allan/Allen MOODY name is found amongst one of our Ydna Moody family who came from Nor. Ireland to PA and then went to OH. Our Participant #50 has this name among his family tree which could be significant or just simply coincidental.
