Just found this and while the link is very distant it just goes to show that I am convinced our Ydna Families are ALL intertwined and Knew it somehow. They say that subconciously we "recognize" our own kind and a show on PBS one night about "Genetic Memory" was one I wish they would Repeat but I haven't seen it. Anyway... This link comes from the Thomas L. MOODY b.c1777 line and and his wife Thankful McCUISTON (as this branch spells their name in the South). Their son John R. MOODY (anyone know what the "R." stands for?) and his wife Casander Florida ALLISON b. 1812 in/of Wilson Co., TN (the ALLISON's are also connected to the TOLER line to which I share such close Ydna with as well who also came from and had ties to NC and TN etc.) John R. MOODY and wife Cassander (poss. Cassandra??) had son John N. MOODY b.c1853 in Wilson Co., TN who married as her 3rd husband I think...Emma (FOGG) (Locke - one of her married names) BARGION (another of her married names). Emma FOGG (how I will reference her)was born 1858 in MASS. and she was a daughter of George James FOGG of Bow, NH and Katherine/Catherine "Kate" F. REDY (daugh. of Michael REDY and Margaret HURL (another name that appears in my James MOODY and Elizabeth DONALD line, only spelled HEAIRL but pronounced as "Earl"...their son James Moody, Jr. married Mary HEAIRL in York Co., Maine 1795 and they disappeared off the maps)., anyway...the REDY family was of the Nor. Ireland area. George James FOGG's 1st wife was Martha Washington FLANDERS whose line links back to the MOODY - URANN (Youring) line also of NH which is a very obscure line that I don't believe has been proven to attach to the Clement Moody line as yet. Ironically Nancy URANN's father Daniel Urann was from Rowley, Essex Co., MA which is where my 5th grt. grandmother Elizabeth DONALD's family was also from as well as my 4th grt. grandfather John BREWER was born there. Do I have a Family tie to This branch of the New England MOODY's??? Perhaps...more on that later as I've been researching them again. Anyway...this FOGG line from Emma leads back to my FOGG line as well...Both lines descend from Samuel FOGG and Mary PAGE....mine through their son Seth and hers through their son Samuel. Both from very early Hampton, NH. Through other intertwinings of this line it meets up with the NEWCOMB's of Wellfleet, MA to which my James MOODY's daughter Sarah MOODY married into...Simon NEWCOMB who was born in Welfleet, MA and who has intermarriages with the COLBY family that links to MOODY's, McQUESTEN's (the ones of NH that I already have a couple of links to, now there appears to be more), DENNY's (also of New England who may link to those who went South with the other branch of McQuiston's/McCuiston's), SARGENT's, WHITCHER's,GORDON's etc. of New England. That Acherson MOODY may be part of my family tree after all. I need to get back on that line but keep getting side-tracked away from it. Anyway, I thought this was interesting so wanted to post it in case it was helpful to others as well. Notify Administrator about this message?
