I forgot that I even wrote that. Since then, I've learned the correct spelling of his last name. I've also been searching on alien registration like you suggested, but I've not had any luck. Maybe I just don't know where to go to get this information. I would think the state historical societies from New York, Minnesota or Wisconsin would have this information.

If his name is so common, why is it so hard to find his information? I did find a record that could be him from Ancestry.com, but I have to go to the local library to access.

Most of the sites I've found with transcribed ship manifests don't have them all done. Most are not completed. I have not found him on the ones that were.

I tried some of the sites you suggested, but yugoslavroots.com as well as about two others weren't working. I'm going to keep searching. Thank you again for all of your help. If you think of anything else, please let me know.

Melanie
