Dzankic
There are2 different clans od Dzankic in Montenegro .
One is in Piva ,the region close to the city of Niksic onthe borther with Hercegovina. The other clan of Dzankic is based in the villages around Podgorica the present capital of Montenegro. Douring comunist time one ofthe leaders of the governement in Montenegro was Miro Dankic .
I think that your grandfuther might be from Piva.
