Douring the turkish ocupation, the whole region was devided in "NAHIJE" . The only free piece of the Balkans between 1692 and 1876 were the 4 nahijas around Cetinje ecamed the capital of Montenegro and the place where was based the VLADIKA (ortodox bishop).
1.Katunska - the biggest
2.Rijecka-the smallest
3.Ljesanska
4.Crmnicka
So Katunska nahija was the biggest region in the free peace of Montenegrin land . There are no Albanian clans in any of those 4 nahijas. The Montenegrin Clans who are mixed with albanian are Kuci ,Bratonocizi, Piperi and Zecani . Bratonozici and
Kuci are bordering with Hoti and Zatribca albanian clans
And Zecani with Malisori.
Douring centuries the relations between Montenegrin clans and expecialy christian albanian clans were good with the feeling of brotherhood .
