Hi Mark,

The surname you're looking for would be Vidakovic (pronounced VEED-AHCK-OVICH with the first h being silent) and yes it's a Montenegrin Serbian surname. There are lots of Vidakovices in Serbia and Montenegro so you would have to specify a place or branch of the family for me to be able to help you:) I'm not sure but I believe the family also has a crest/Coat-of Arms. I'd have to check on that - this is off the top of my head. Feel free to contact me via e-mail for more help! By the way, have to ask: Is your last name a variation of the KONjEVIC surname (pronounciation would be the same in serbian)?

Good luck-
