Montenegro Family in Brazil

Montenegro, we are a big family in Brazil. Yolanda Montenegro recently write a book about our family in Brazil.
She says that in 1634 Domingos de San Thiago Montenegro, from Spain, came from the City of Porto, Portugal, with the army of "Conde de Banghuolo", Gino de San Felice, to combat the Holanders out of Northost Brazil, and arrive in Recife, State of Pernambuco, ca. two months later. From Domingos to me are 12 generations. She believes that Domingos family came from Galicia, Spain, after live in Andaluzia. The reports about de Montenegro family in Brazil are in the book "Nobiliarquia Pernambucana", page 88, A.V.Borges da Fonseca, writed in 1748/1775. She believes also that the origin of the name is Irna Gora. What we need now is to find the bridge that brings the Montenegro family from Irna Gora to Galícia.
We have some notices about Montenegros in Spain and Italy: 1248,Ricardo Montenegro in Napoles with FredericoII; 1430, Pietro Montenegro in Veneza; 1443, Luciano Montenegro in the king Aragão court; 1575, Girolano Montenegro in the Spain Embassy in Vaticano, became Marquês de Marigliano.
If you have more information about the past of my Montenegro's family please let me know about. Thanks.
