Interesting!

I have a few generations before family oral history that notes three brothers immigrated to America from Scotland it is said. They may have served in the Revolutionary War!

The brothers split, and I descend from a John and son Henry (uncorroborated) then George and daughter Naoma MONTEITH NEIL/NEAL b 1811-1812 TN d 29 Jan 1898 and buried in Fabius Cemetery, Fabius Twp, Schuyler Co., MO.

Naoma was my paternal 3rd great-grandmother.

The line flummoxes me! I would love to correspond with you. Perhaps this line of soldiers links in some way!
