Did not find a death record for Hugh but did for his wife. Hugh probably did die in Deer Lodge County and you could write to the county clerks office for that.

It was the family of Thomas Warren Buckley that lived in Bozeman, Gallatin Co, Montana. So although Hugh Grant may have provided for the reception it probably took place at the Buckley home.

Essie K. Buckley is back in Montana, Deer Lodge Co, Anaconda for the 1930 census. She is listed as widowed and has two children. She is County Superintent of Schools.

Hope something here is of help
Marsha
