Hi Judy,
My family of Montagues are also from Massachusetts. My father was Clifford Dwight Montatgue born in Milford, Massachusetts on Feb. 9, 1909. After his death my grandmother Daisy Kimball Montague was offered a job as a LPN in Townsend, Massachusetts they lived there for about 15 years or so. His beloved mother died when Dad was 20 years old just before he and my mother were married on July 4, 1928. They had four children when my father was offered a job at the Norton Company in Worcester, Massachusetts I was 9 months old when we made the move to Worester, Massachusetts about 30 miles from Townsend.
My mother was Winifred Collins/Hennessy. Her mother was not married when she became pregnant with her and only 16 at the time. My mother was raised by a wonderful couple in Mason, New Hampshire. My Dad was an only child and his father had one brother and
he never had any children. However my Dad and Mum had 3 boys to carry on the name.
