Forgive me, but I didn’t know there was a Thomas Montague who had died on 9 Feb 1720 until you provided it in your posting. I only deduced from your posting that Thomas Montague was s/o William, s/o Peter because I had all the family facts on William III and Peter II. I hope you have other references on Thomas Montague’s existence, otherwise we have an unsubstantiated theory about him? Regardless he is definitely not Thomas Montague, Sr. Did you mean to type "Mary Montague" when you asked about her being daughter of William Montague III and Lettice Weekes? Perhaps you just had a typo, but Mary Montague is the daughter of Peter II and Mary Minor and the one we think may be Mary Montague-Payne-Johnson-Ball-Hewes.
Now I have more questions. Did William Montague III and Lettice have a son Abraham (b. 28 Sep 1701)? This would be before their marriage date Jan 3, 1702/3 (Was baby Abraham legit?) [The source for this marriage date is my family genealogy files compiled by great grandparents about 100 years ago. Other than that I don’t know where they sourced it.] Was Thomas their second son and when was he born? Perhaps your GED file contains the answers.
