Yes Paul Montague did orginate in Ireland. Born Feb 5, 1816.I have information that he married Prudence McLeavey in County Down, Ireland on May 14,1848.
Then they suddenly show up in Baltimore. We have a letter that was written by one of Prudence's sister Dated May 13,1866 to Prudence who was now living in the Township of Walpole , Haldimand County , in the Province on Ontario, Canada. The letter refers to people & family that both knew living in Baltimore.
Prudence came to Ont. Canada with her her 3 sons in 1852. One daughter died at birth in Baltimore. We have her will that is dated July 5,1866 in the Haldimand County Registry Office. But no mention of Paul is noted. Where did he go.
The only time he is mentioned is in the marriage register of his sons. Prudence and her sons are buried in St Ann's Cemetery, Walpole Township.Co.of Haldimand. Were did Paul go?
