I have a photo of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Montague posed on the steps of the old DeSota Hotel in Savannah, Georgia. He is portly, in top hat and well dressed. The Kodak round format photo suggests 1890's. Have no info on where they are from and suspect this was taken on a vacation and that they lived elsewhere. Contact me if this couple might be your relations and you want to see a scan.
