Lynn

I am a County Tyrone Montague living now in Belfast and have been collecting a vast lot of data for several years. As well as NJ there are a lot of Tyrone Montagues in PA, New York, RI and other locations that I would like to hear from. The name Arthur runs in my family as well. What I can only assume from your message is that your grandfather Joseph (1907-1974) was born in the USA. I have records of 3 or 4 Josephs in the Ellis Island records but their dates do not match.
For now all I have is a John going to Planefield via Scotland in 1910. It would probably help greatly if we could establish the name of Joseph's father. Then I could possibly pick it up in the Irish baptism records.
Would Joseph's death certificate give his father's name? Contact me directly at my ordinary email if you find anything further.
Peter
