I googled his name and got this site:

From there I learned his age was 21 in 1945, and he was from Batesville MS. Batesvill is in Panola Co.
Checking the 1930 Panola Co MS census, Roll 1162, pg 9A, Court St., I found Archibald B Monroe, age 34, born KY, with a 7 yr old son A.B.
Archibald the father's wife was Ila, age 30, born MS, their 5 yr old daughter Martha B, and Archibald's 66 yr old widowed mother Adella was living with them.
Archibald was an Agent for the IC (?) Railroad. This might be the Illionis Central RR:
