I found Andrew Monroe & Ann Bell in yor index--this is my take on them.

46. Andrew5 Monroe (William4, William3, Andrew2, David1) was born 1749 in VA, and died 1815 in
Barren Co., KY. He married Anne Bell October 24, 1789 in Albermarle Co. VA, daughter of Thomas Bell and
Elizabeth Weir. She was born in Albermarle Co. VA, and died Abt. 1830 in Monroe Co., KY.
Notes for Anne Bell:
Ann (Anna) Bell m. Andrew Monroe on Oct. 24, 1789 in Albemarle Co., VA. Andrew and Ann sold their
Albemarle Co. farm in 1792.
They moved to Scott Co., KY as is shown by an agreement which names Ann Monroe as widow of Andrew
Monroe decd. late of Scott Co., KY and names their 6 children.(Barren Co. deed Kp424, 1819).
This deed also states that Andrew had ownedtracts of 98 acres and 3 acres in Scott Co. and that the three sons,
Benjamin, Thomas B., and James are to share this Scott Co. land. Banjamin Monroe was the admininstrator of the
Andrew Monroe estate and Thomas B. signed the bond (scott Co., KY will book Bp433, recorded Oct. 1817).
The widow Ann Monroe moved to Barren Co., KY and in 1818 Wm. Trigg of Franklin Co., TN sold a tract to
Ann Monroe, widow and relict of Andrew Monroe, decd., Benjamin Monroe, Thomas B. Monroe, Alexander
Adair and Elizabeth Adair, his wife, late Elizabeth Monroe, RACHEL P. MONROE, Mary K. Monroe, and James
Monroe, children and heirs of Andrew Monroe, decd. This tract was on the south fork of Beaver Creek in Barren
CO. (Barren deed Fp314)
The sons Benjamin and Thomas B, have many deeds in Barren Co., beginning in 1819 and a number of the deeds
pertain to land in or near Glasco Co.
Ann soon moved to present Monroe Co., KY. She was in Tompkinsville in Nov. of 1819 when
" I, Ann Monroe, lawful heir of Andrew Bell decd. do hereby constitue and appoint Joseph G. Hardin my true and
lawful attorney in fact....given under my hand at Thompkinsville this 30th day of November 1819. (Barren Co.
KY deed Gp300) (Joseph Hardin was her son-in-law). Ann was still in Monroe Co. in 1834 when she sold her
Barren Co. land on the south fork of Beaver Creek (Barren deeds Np429 & Op221, both 1834).
Ann was living with her daughter Mary Hardin in Monroe Co., KY in the 1930 census. The 1940 census shows
Mary Hardin had moved to Marshall Co., MS and no elderly woman was in the household.
