Hello,
I would love to get the Stafford Monroes sorted out, but have not been able to do so yet. I have a James Monroe, Sr. (c.1797-1867) who had a wife named Sarah Ann (c.1799-after 1850). They had children Whitfield (c.1816-1899), James (c.1824-c.1876), John (born c.1834), Willie Ann who married a Burton, Jane who married Azaria Jones, Franklin (born c.1832), Francis (born c.1826), and possibly a son named Daniel. Might these be the folks you are looking for?
