Hi
My Grandmother was born:- Mary Jane MONGER. 1887-1946, Born in Neath,Glamorgan, South Wales. Her line reaches back to James MONGER. 1663-1722. He Died in Neath, Glam S,Wales. Mary's Grandfather:- Edward MONGER 1826-1898, has a fantastic story behind it,
Stated in the UK Census, He was born in The Netherlands-Holland (stated on all Census).
Question:- I know his Father & Mother- Edward & Elizabeth worked for the Llanelly Copperworks at the time prior to his birth so how could they have both been in Holland ?
Could any one throw some light on this,
By the way I have fine detailed records of most all the MONGERS of South Wales as I was born within 2 miles of their B,M,D Churches so if I can help, I will.
