Mary Monger daughter in law of David Monger & Elizabeth Wix

Does anyone know the maiden surname of Mary the wife of George Monger. I know she was born 1779 Mapledurham, Oxfordshire married 1812 to David at Compton at which point she already had 4 children but was married under the name of Monger. Mary died 1852 in Compton of natural causes.

Try as I might I am at a loss on this one. I had hoped her death certificate may shed some light on the matter but it hasnt.

For the record George died of Apolexy in 1861 in Compton
