Looking for any and all relations to Greenberry Mounger 1845 Calhoun Co., Ms., and Exter Virginia Johnson b. 1856 Ms., married about 1871 in Calhoun Co., Ms., removed to Texas about 1880 to early 1890's. They were the parents of nine children. They lived in Grayson Co., for a few years before moving to Collin Co., Texas.
Greenberry Mounger was also know as "Babe" and G. B. nothing is known much about this couple before coming to Texas, seems we are dealing with a burned out courthouse in Cahoun Co., Ms.
Greenberry Mounger also had a brother Sampson Mounger b.1848 m. to Susanna Jones which came to Collin Co., Texas.
There was a 1/2 brother John Adams Mounger that lived here also for a number of years before removing to Oklahoma. John Adams Mounger b. 1837, was married 1st wife unknown, second wife was Sarah J. unknown.
John Adams Mounger, and Greenberry Mounger, and possibly Sampson Mounger were War Between the States Vets.
It is though that the father of the above mentioned men was John Brewer Mounger, and his second wife was Nancy Ferris.
Other surnames connected to these Mounger lines were Boland, Womble, both in Ms. and after the moved to Texas. The surname lines connected to Greenberry and Exter Mounger lines were Willcoxson, Larkin, Garvin, Samson, Hodo.
