Hi Carlos Roberto, i to live in australia since 1983 was born in el salvador, look the family name monge does come from the south of france and later migrated to spain in seville and to other parts of spain as well the family grew and aventualy got to be for every king in spain the advisor for a region before the 1800 the where very wealthy people and had lots of lands and always in political positions in spain and even france, in france there was the famous gaspard monge mathematician geometrist, very important person back then, from there on when america was discovered by columbus, becuase of the political embrace with the queen isabel in them days a couple of family members where sent to the americas and after that they migrated to the atlantic side of now centralamerica, let me tell you that there are more monge in costa rica with good political positions. well if you where born in el salvador we come from these family members, and probably your family is from the departamento like we call state for NSW from chalatemnango where one of the first spanish settlers from spain came to the highlands good for agricultural farming if you are from sonsonate its because early last century migrated to the coastal areas but still are from chalatenango. look on the map of el salvador the mayor of the small town of arcatao in chalatenango is milton monge. its true monge family is big and has migrated al over the world just like us in australia. nice meeting you i hope to meet you some day....
