I saw the names in the census. However, the marriage record for the Elie Born 1854 who was a carriage maker in Ottawa
shows:
002006-78 (Carleton Co): Elie MONET, 24, carriage maker, Montreal, Ottawa, s/o Charles MONET & Scholastique DAVID married Elizabeth BOUCHARD, 21, Ottawa, same, d/o Samuel BOUCHARD & Angele BRUNET. Wit: Samuel BOUCHARD and Paul MONET, both of Ottawa. October 6, 1878, at Ottawa (RC).

I would wonder if the same Elie married Elizabeth Lacount in 1926. Elie would have been 72 and Elizabeth only 30. Not impossible, but worth checking further.

Chris
